Dr. Tal Benatar is an Israeli-American conductor based in Nashville, TN. He currently serves as the Conducting Fellow of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra. Recently, Tal earned a place in the semifinals at the Kodály International Music Competition in Debrecen, Hungary, and in early 2023, he was the competition winner the International Conductor's Workshop & Competition in Atlanta, GA.

 

He was previously the Gilbert S. Omenn Music Director of the Life Sciences Orchestra in Ann Arbor, MI and the Music Director of the Michigan Pops Orchestra. Tal's mission is to enhance communities through collaborative and innovative musical and interdisciplinary programming.
